THE STAGE CURTAIN WILL BE GRAY WITH A HUGE SCARLET LETTER "0" IN THE MIDDLE. IN THE CEILING TREATMENT WILL BE THE GREAT SEAL OF OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY FORMING THE APEX OF THE LIGHT TROUGH.

To the right and over the marquee, is a plain field of gray terra cotta, emphasized by five red spotted ornaments, and topped by a 30-inch high section of the fluted column treatment which will serve as a frieze capping the entire mass.

Featured in scarlet and gray, the auditorium walls 'will be divided by eight ornamented pilasters, with especially woven glass-cloth panels, and surmounted by an ornamented plaster frieze. A vertical, fluted treatment runs to a low base at the stage level.

A CANOPY LIGHTING STRIP OVER THE LARGE CONCESSION STAND WILL DRAW ATTENTION TO IT AND TO THE PHOTOMURALS OF UNIVERSITY EVENTS. THESE WILL BE PERIODICALLY CHANGED TO PROVIDE INTERESTING DECOR VARIATION.

This compact theatre will use mechanical refrigeration for air-conditioning purposes, and this equipment, together with a gas-fired steam boiler for heating, will be located on the second floor eliminating the need for a basement.

Interior of the lobby is provided with a sizable concession stand and a closet and storage space for marquee letters. The latter is provided just inside the lobby and under a special exit stairway which serves the second floor.
