DRIVE-IN PROJECTION EQUIPMENT

Utilizing screens vastly larger than indoor theatres, the light efficiency on the part of the projection lamp and projection mechanism used for these theatres assumes greater importance. Brenkert lamps and Brenkert projectors have proved, and are daily continuing to prove in drivein theatres, that they have the efficiency to match this need. Their rugged construction, with their advanced engineering features make them the best bet for continual high class performance with a minimum of repair expense.

DRIVE-IN SOUND EQUIPMENT

Sound projection systems for drive-in type theatres present an interesting array of layouts suited to a variety of geographical, physical, and legislative requirements. No matter what the preference or the requirement, RCA equipment is adaptable to the situation.

SOUNDHEADS AND AMPLIFIERS

Basic equipment for all RCA sound systems for drive-in type theatres is the big PG-ZSO amplifier and soundhead equipment. It is conservatively rated at 125 watts minimum and can be easily expanded by the addition of extra output amplifiers up to 360 watts total undistorted output.

The PG-ZSI uses a 250 watt amplifier which consists of two complete channels, each capable of delivering 125 watts undistorted power output. A switch provided on the rack permits these units to be operated separately, or together, thereby providing complete emergency protection.

LOUDSPEAKERS

There are high quality RCA loudspeakers for every type of loudspeaker installation whether centralized, multiple above ground, or in the car. The best choice rests upon a consideration of all factors. The in-car type, however, has quickly risen to a position of outstanding popularity. First choice for these theatres is the efficient RCA In-Car loudspeaker illustrated above. It combines high quality performance with light weight and extra features making for ease in handling.
