The hot-air heater and air-conditioning unit will be located in a basement under the stage, with the conditioned air delivered into the auditorium through 'ceiling Anemo-stats. For the front portion of the house# that is, the lobby, washrooms, manager-is office, projection room, and so forth-*a hotwater heater in a separate basement under the lobby will be used.

An outstanding feature of the auditorium is a 34-foot wide and 13-foot deep stage with a 29-foot proscenium opening. This stage will be equipped with panel board, border and foot lights, and the like, suflicient to run occasional flesh performances.

Such economically and tastefully built small theatres are a pleasure to inspect, for they reflect the type of operation that is the backbone of show business. For invested dollar, their income return is often greater than that of the de luxe palace; and through their smaller auditoriums a greater mass of the public is each year served with entertainment.

The future construction of this theatre will be followed with interest.

A CEILINGvLIGHTED LOBBY, WITH A TERRAZZO TILE FLOOR, IS COMPLETELY ENCLOSED IN CURVED GLASS TO GIVE THE NECESSARY PROTECTION WITHOUT GIVING THE EFFECT OF A CLOSED LOBBY. THE ISLAND BOX OFFICE IS CIRCULAR IN SHAPE. TOPs lIGHTED POSTER FRAMES ALONG THE SOLID WALL CAN BE SEEN FROM THE STREET. IN THE INNER FOYER THE SAME TREATMENT AS THAT SO EFFECTIVELY USED IN THE OUTER LOBBY IS EMPLOYED.
