STRONG MOGULe

THE IDEAL PROJECTION ARC LAMP FOR DRIVE-INS AND LARGE THEATRES

projects 15,000 lumcns of liglit#the maximum film will accept without damage#at the lowest possible cost.

Utilizing all the advantages of 70 ampere, 4-0 volt burning of Suprex carbons, this Mogul projects a brilliant picture on 48-foot and larger screens with all details clearly visible 500 feet or more from the screen.

It is impractical to use more than 15,000 lumens as it would damage the film and no advantage is gained by the use of eontraptions for cooling the gate, or glass heat filters, for they absorb practically as much light as they do heat, in addition to being too expensive and complicated for typical theatre applications.

It is furthermore wasteful, as well as futile, to burn more than 70 amperes in any reflector lamp. or twice the current in condenser lamps.

STRONG UTILITY I KW. HIGH INTENSITY ARC LAMP

A light for the moderate sized theatre using a screen up to 18 feet in width; where the vivid brillianey of high intensity projection has been heretofore denied by prohibitive operating costs.

To secure the desired screen brilliancy with the present dcnsc black and white films, and satisfactorily present Technicolor films, twice as much light is required as is possible to project by any low intensity lamp. This neccssary doubling in light over the low intensity is made [)1)>SII)IC with this lamp, at an increased combined current and carbon cost of less than 2r} per hour.
