THE AUDITORIUM has International Chairs. Carpeting is by Leedom, with carpet padding by Allen Industries. The theatre's air-conditioning system includes cooling compressors by General Refrigeration, heating and cooling coils by McQuay. evaporative condenser by Marlo, gas-fired boiler by Mueller, ventillating fans and blowers by Bishop and Babcock. and electric motors by Allis-Chalmers. The curtain controls and track are by Vallen. lnc. The general color scheme of the auditorium is burgundy and blue. accentuated by plaster baroque ornaments. The checkered fabric at the rear is made of spun glass.

For the convenience of the nine brothers and sisters of the Ackerman family, that owns the theatre, a 10-by15-foot luxurious lounge, with a huge. plate glass window facing the theatre's auditorium, allows the owners and their families to view the movies in. complete privacy.

Entering into the specious auditorium from the standee space, one immediately notes the novel design developed by the use of a pale coral recess in the dropped ceiling. Burgundy spun glass covers the side walls. Lighting this field are three cast lighting plaster troughs, with French baroque cast plaster ornaments in alabaster white, concealing the source. Forward from the burgundy field, about three-quarters of the length of the auditorium, the curved plaster surfaces running toward the proscenium are painted a pale blue, which continue on each side to the proscenium.

At the rear of the auditorium, from a point approximately 20 feet from the projection room wall, a darker blue checkered spun glass fabric has been accentuated by wood molds in oyster white. Around the entire angle of an auditorium, formed by the ceiling and side walls, an escallopcd white frieze is featured with red discs.

A sweeping curtain of burgundy crushed plush and rose and blue seats complete the Over-all decorative effect.
