CENTURY MODERN PROJECTORS

Are you looking for a proiector that offers more to you and your patrons than any other? Then consider,- CENTURY'S double and single rear shutter mechanisms give you maximum screen illumination with safe film temperature. Air cooled multiple heat baffles effectively control lamp heat thus eliminating light-wasting glass filters. Proof of CENTURY'S high optical efficiency can be seen in the following ratings:

Model C (using f2.0 optics) 50 percent efficient (using f3.5 optics) 54.5 percent efficient Model CC (using f2.0 optics) 60 percent etticient

With CENTURY you will have no lubrication headaches-no dripping oil or grease to mess up equipment or film. There are no oil baths or oil pumps to leak or to fail and cause bindups and frozen bearings. To put an end to this costly trouble CENTURY uses frictionless bearings and glass-hard, high carbon-chrome steel gears.

CENTURY projectors are the cleanest, simplest, sturdiest made. They operate to such a degree of perfection that regardless of the length of throw or the size of the screen, the picture is clearer, sharper, and more steady than previously thought possible.

These diagrams show schematically the gear arrangements with extra high efficiency. Other types (Figs. 3 to 7) ha" of six well known projector mechanisms. Figures 1 and 2 from four to )2 such meshes and up to 23 gears.

show the simple, direct design of the CENTURY mechanisms. Ten gears with only two gear meshes between the shutter Fewer gears mean less trouble, lower maintenance, higher and the intermittent cam. It's easy to see why they operate efficiency, sharper pictures . . . finer proiection.
