A Different More Efficient Air Diffuser

Square or Rectangular to Conform to Interior Design Modern Diffusers Provide 100% Distribution Control

Too much emphasis cannot be placed on this added box office attraction, fiCors rect Air Distribution." A diffuser that takes the conditioned air from the duct system and then distributes it among the patrons, draftlessly - silently # and as gently as falling feathers, adds to the comfort and enjoyment of the audience and helps increase box office receipts.

To assure correct air distribution, a diffuser should be designed to eliminate drafts, the most common complaint of theatre goerseprevent dead spots where patrons receive no benefit at all from the air outleteand control the volume of air distributed to the conditioned area.

RGITAIR TYPE B DIFFUSERS. mounted in the ceiling of the auditorium oi the Ludlow. Ludlow, Kentucky. provide tour-way blow with 100 per cent

By T. A. HUGHES,

Air Devices. Inc., New York, N. Y.

One of the most important factors in any air conditioning system is correct air distribution. Without it, all the highly specialized engineering talent, their time and effort put into the planning of the system, become nothing more than a noble experiment.

If conditioned air is to be distributed uniformly throughout all places Where it is wanted, the diffusers cannot be uni form in designethey must be adaptable to the shape and requirements of each region they serve. Incidentally, areas that are round in shape are found in comparatively few theatres. Square or rectangular diffusers are better suited to most applications because almost all the areas they are called on to serve are essentially square or rectangular.

The Agitair Type R offers a distinct contrast to all other types of diffusers. Square or rectangular in shape, the multi-orifice design of this air outlet is so arranged that the air is discharged through all orifices at uniform velocity, but at varying angles. Combining all the essential features required to give correct distribution of air, the patented construction of this diffuser assures

control. The multioritice design at this air outlet is so arranged that air is discharged through all orifices at uniform velocity but at varying angles.
