MARS Mars, Pa.

Structurally unique because of a specially built, tubular-steel truss "wet" roof, the Mars was opened January 2, 1950. Patrons are farmers and town workers.

Glass doors lead from the solid brick front into a lobby with cream walls and a white ceiling. Toilets have same scheme.

The Hoor of the outer lobby is maroon block tile, while that of the inner section is carpeted in the same shade.

At the end of the lobby stands a wellequipped candy counter. Staircases on either side lead up to the booth, a cry room, television lounge, and storeroom.

The plain auditorium has cream-colored walls, white ceiling, and cork aisles.
