TWIN Louisville, Ky.

Located on a 27-acre lot, on which other amusement facilities will be built also, the double-screen Twin was opened June 30, 1950. Second-run pictures are shown

to a mixed suburban populace. On either side of the entrance arch are

neon-lighted reader boards and two exit arches. A four-lane entrance drive leads to dual boxoflices, and hence on to entrance to the theatre proper through the tunneled screen tower.

Warehouse space is built into the screen

tower, and beneath it is situated a wellequipped playground and seats for walkin patrons on each side.

Two spacious concession stands have terrazzo floors and plaster walls, as well as tiled rest rooms under the same roof. Projection buildings are in front.
