RIVERVIEW Carrollfon, Ky..

Located on U. S. Highway 42, the Riverview was opened May 18, 1950. Three changes per week are offered to a

small town and rural patronage of 20,000. The large screen tower is finished in white paint with colored neon lighting listing the name of the theatre across the face. Living quarters and office space for the manager are contained in it. Before reaching the two-lane entrance at the boxofhce, cars must proceed past



a large holdout area, where they can be shuttled if necessary.

The complete parking area within contains a spacious concession stand, booth, and rest rooms in the center. Seating space, built up as a concrete patio, is located on either side of the refreshery. A stage and playground are under screen.
