HAVEN Brookhaven, Miss.

A first-run theatre situated in the center of the business district, the Haven was opened August 29, 1950. Musical comedies and westerns are mainly shown.

Letters on the maroon and cream metal marquee are masonite. Neon lighting in rose, gold, and green illuminates the large vertical sign and marquee tiH" insignia.

Cream and green tile covers the lobby floor, walls are burgundy and green, and ceiling is white. A similar color scheme prevails in the rest roOms and auditorium. In one corner of the lobby is a long candy bar and drink machine.

Special features include two stores in front, a cry room, special stage arrangement, and an apartment above theatre.
