A low-budget, small-town theatre, the Fiske was opened April 17, 1950. Firstrun westerns and comedies are favored.

The front is finished in red and white which combines with the natural yellow of the brick facade. Glass doors open into a lobby with smooth plaster walls painted light brown and a white ceiling.

A similar color scheme prevails in the foyer, which has a well-equipped refreshment stand at one side. Off this area are tiled rest rooms, the ladies, done in blue and the menls in green. Toilets for colored patrons are in the balcony.

Walls of the auditorium are blue and grey, while the ceiling is cream. Stage drapes are blue, red, and silver. There are hearing aids and a cry room (rear).
