Located in one of the city,s best residential sections, the. Lyric ranks with the finest theatres in South Africa. The facade is faced with polished ivory and off-white artificial stone, with the boxotiice trimmed with blue mosaic. In the foyer, cove lighting and recessed spots provide subdued illumination, and a wall of glass separates the foyer from a milk bar. An opposite wall in the foyer, entirely of mirror, closes off the boxolfice and cloakrooms. An attractive aquarium is a feature of the foyer.
