NON-INTERLOCKING TYPES Manually Operated Models

When only a few circuits require dimming as in auditorium: or single rooms, noninterlocking POWERSTAT Dimmers find their widest uses. Non-interlocking ; POWERSTAT Dimmers consist of one or more units, on a common shaft with all units in the assembly operating in unison. Separate control of the individual units is not possible. Non-interlocking assemblies are available in ratings from LOOO

to 30,000 watts.

Motor-Driven Models

In order to provide effortless control of large amounts of power, non-interlocking POWERSTAT Dimmers of the D2000 and D5000 Series are available as motordriven assemblies. Motor-driven units can be controlled from convenient locations away from the dimmer assembly. They also may be adapted to positioner control offering miniature dimmer operation in a compact, console-type control board.





INTERLOCKING TYPES

Interlocking POWERSTAT Dimmers are available in single units in 2,000 and 5,500 watts rating. They may be operated independently, mastered and grand mastered. Each is provided with individual hand lever and indicating drum. Factory framed assemblies with or without mastering or grand mastering controls are available.

The Superior Electric Company does not manufacture complete switchboards but cooperates with customers' suppliers in providing the right interlocking POWERSTAT Dimmers for specific needs.



PACKAGED TYPES

To provide big switchboard lighting effects at low cost, The Superior Electric Company has developed PACKAGED POWERSTAT Dimmers. They are particularly suitable for schools, churches, small theatres and similar applications where cost is an important factor. They are extremely flexible and may be purchased as single units with others being added from time to time to complete large installations. Numerous models are available in ratings from 6,000 to 12,000 watts.
