If playground equipment is properly installed, it is ready and able to withstand years of the severe use and abuse it will receive. Adequate concrete footings and perfect alignment of all frame members are necessary to assure maximum structural strength and rigidity.

Proper Methods

Correct installation is not nearly so difficult as it might at iirst appear to be. Leading manufacturers of recreational equipment, like American, supply detailed, but easy-to-read blueprints which show the ground plans and outline the recommended procedures for installing each unit. In addition, installation plans often point out numerous ways by which the work of installation can be simplified and made easier.

Check your equipment carefully at the time of delivery and before you sign the carriers freight receipt to make certain that you have received all of the bags, bundles cartons, crates and pieces as detailed in the bill of lading, which accompanies your invoice.
