SKYLINE DRIVE-IN Oak Hill, w. Va.

Deep in the agricultural and coal mining area, the operators of this outdoor theatre discovered that the best site they could find was on top of mountain. Believing that it would be worth the effort, they proceeded to literally blast the top off the mountain to make room for the 500 car drive-in. The back of the steel screen tower is covered with a scene depicting the mountains common to the region, and the name of the theatre in large script letters.
