This 1500 seat house was recently given a thorough job of modernization that took eight months to complete.

The auditorium, foyer and lobby were redone in a modern motif. A new candy bar was installed with decorations in the background accented by chrome and deep rose. The marquee was streamlined and other exterior effects included a

newly decorated boxofiice and glass and metal exit doors. The dominant color in the wall decorations, ceiling and lobby pillars Was Dubonnet in blending tones, while the patterned carpet utilized scarlet, gold and black for contrast.

Restrooms were also revitalized, the menls room being finished with sand colored tile on the walls and sand colored floor tile in the toilet room, and a similar color plastic tile in the smoking room. The ladies, toilet room was finished with coral colored tile.

The auditorium was reseated.
