by the G. Kume Architect Office, and was completed in 1953 by the same construction company that built the Daiei. This theatre is composed of two auditoriums, each on separate floors. The above ground auditorium consists of 900 seats, while the one in the basement can hold 420 persons in its auditorium area. Its modern up-tovdate appearance is one of the outstanding features of this theatre. Despite the large number of seats, and the large, impressive lobby and lounge areas, this theatre was built in a rather small land area.

Yokohama
