FILM CENTRE Baltimore, Md.

One of the finest examples of a theatre remodeling job can be seen by paying a visit to the Film Centre.

The theatre was taken over by a local exhibitor who decided to turn the house into an ultra-modern art film outlet.

Patrons upon entering the inner lobby are presented with a view of an impressible mural depicting the functions of night and day. The back wall of the lobby is covered with full length drapes in a bright floral pattern. A grouping of modern furniture makes this a fine place to wait for friends.

The lobby of this 960 seat theatre has been decorated in a modern up-to-date fashion. One of the most popular features of the house is the counter where free hot coffee is distributed by charming hostesses. There are also art exa hibits' features, and when possible these exhibits tie-in with the feature theme.
