Representing an investment of $115; 000, the Carson Theatre has been designed and equipped so that the inhabitants of the small town in which it is located, may enjoy all of the recent advances made in projection and sound, and in surroundings that make going to the theatre a rewarding use of leisure time.

The front of the theatre has been done in ceramic tile, and the color combination is green with yellow borders.

A warm shade of old rose has been used in the lobby and foyer with a green figured carpet furnishing the contrast. The concession stand is constructed of natural wood, and the floors around this

area have been covered with alternating squares of red and green asphalt tile. The auditorium has light green plastered wide walls while the back has been done in white acoustic tile. The latest seating has been used and consists of 584 chairs in the main part of the auditor

ium, 64 spring base loge chairs and 15 seats in the cry room.

Projection and sound equipment includes a 42-foot wide screen, and stereophonic sound.

A complete heating and air conditioning system adds to patron comfort.
