This platter system allows the projectionist to just set up the film, turn on the projector, and not have to do anything else with the film for the rest of the night. Talk about user friendly!!

This is Juan Gonzales, manager of the Vineland Drive-In. Juan has worked at many drive-ins in SoCal and is a super nice guy and total drive-in devotee. He was kind enough to give SoCalDIMS a tour of the property. Thanks, Juan, for a great night!

Here is an interesting bit of info. Juan Gonzales say's that they have the ability to show the same movie on 2 different screens at the same time. The film threads thru the first projector and then is fed thru guide wheels into the second projector. Kinda
